Abu Dhabi: "Top Gun" Miramar for the Middle East. US trains Jordanian and UAE Air Forces

Thump, thump, thump...can you hear it?..the drumbeat to war with Iran is getting louder. On Sunday the Telegraph reported the United States Air Force has been participating in a whole lot more than they want US to know about. It appears they have created a highly specialized "Top Gun" flight school in the the UAE. The Mavericks, Goose, and Icemen are not from the US though. Flying in the skies high above the UAE and most assuredly over the highly provocative Straits of Hormuz, Jordanian, Egyptian, the UAE,US and RAF pilots have been 'prepping the alliance' for a conflict with Iran. Here are a few excerpts from the Telegraph article...
An air warfare conference in Washington last week was told how American air chiefs have helped to co-ordinate intelligence-sharing with Gulf Arab nations and organise combined exercises designed to make it easier to fight together.

Gen Michael Mosley, the US Air Force chief of staff, used the conference to seek closer links with allies whose support America might need if President George W Bush chooses to bomb Iran.

Pentagon air chiefs have helped set up an air warfare centre in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where Gulf nations are training their fighter pilots and America has big bases. It is modelled on the US Air Force warfare centre at Nellis air force base in Nevada.

Jordan and the UAE have both taken part in combined exercises designed to make sure their air forces can fly, and fight, together and with American jets. The conference was long-planned to discuss developments in air warfare technology, but the question of possible hostilities involving Iran was discussed.

Bruce Lemkin, the American air force deputy under-secretary for international affairs, said: “We need friends and partners with the capabilities to take care of their own security and stability in their regions and, through the relationship, the inter-operability and the will to join us in coalitions when appropriate…

“On its most basic level, it’s about flying together, operating together and training together so, if we have to, we can fight together.”

*Putting on the headphones* Stop the drumming!! Let's see..will the US bomb Iran..hmmm. Putting things into perspective I'm remembering a day in 1986 when Israel bombed the nuclear facility in Iraq. Now with that in consideration let's look at recent events.

America has just rearmed the gulf, not just with bombs, but with aircraft as well. Israel has just hit Syria with air strikes without international outrage. We have just deemed Iran's elite Quds force a terrorist regime as they have the CIA and the US Army. Cheney and Bush have already spoke of 'meaningful consequences' to Iran with 'Freedom Fry' Kouchner chiming in, Adm. Fallon has been on his 'containment tour' while at the same time offering up F-16's to Gulf nations, Bolten has declared he "can't see any other viable option then to bomb Iran", the insane Debra Cagan just told members of the UK parliament that she "hated all Iranians", we've ignored the warnings of UN and IAEA and in turn created another 'side meeting' to try to bypass the international organizations and rally more sanctions on Iran..(it failed)....

Wake up America..We are being sold another LEMON. The neocons are determined to have their war with Iran. The majority of Americans do not want to engage in another war. Yet, our policymakers are allowing US to march into another. Damn it..Don't give Bush/Cheney their "long war"..their "100 year generational war"

Democracy is crumbling. Wake up..stop being so damn apathetic....please. Don't let Cheney rock out!

Same Players. Different Scandal.
